As a first step toward enrollment in the Course in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, we conduct a pre-program Orientation Session before the start of course. This Orientation Session is strongly recommended of all participants before beginning the program.

  • During this session you will have the opportunity to:
  • Learn about Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, including some of the theory and history
  • Experience, first-hand, some of mindfulness methods and approaches you will be learning during the program
  • Meet with your instructor for a brief, informal conversation about MBSR
  • Have any question you may have about the program answered in real time by the instructor
  • Complete a brief questionnaire to assess your current experience of stress and wellness.

At the conclusion of the orientation, if you and your instructor discern that the MBSR course is a good fit for you, you may complete a registration form and join the course.
